NASHVILLE ELVIS FESTIVAL (3/19-3/22)

The Nashville Elvis Festival—which actually takes place in Franklin—is billed as “the Ultimate Elvis event.” Marking its 10^th anniversary in 2026, this year’s festival celebrates the life and music of Elvis Presley with an expanded lineup of shows and headliners, including the top Elvis tribute artists from around the world. It’s four days of live music, tribute performances, and related activities that honor the legacy of the King of Rock and Roll. March 19-22, 2026, at The Factory in Franklin. BELL BUCKLE DAFFODIL DAY (3/21)

Every March, Bell Buckle, TN bursts into full bloom with a colorful explosion of daffodils. Then they invite everyone to come enjoy a day full of fun, family-friendly activities. Got daffodils of your own? You’re welcome to pick your favorite bloom and enter it in the flower show. It’s free to enter; check out the rules and regs.

While you’re waiting to find out if your daffodil is a winner, you can enjoy live music, explore the shops and pick up a FREE tree seedling. (This year’s options are Oak, Common Persimmon, and Native Sweet Pecan.) BLOOMING ARTS FESTIVAL (3/27-3/28)

Plan a trip to the quaint, small town of Linden, TN to celebrate the 18^th annual Blooming Arts Festival. ​In addition to 150-plus arts & crafts exhibitors and a full schedule of live music, the festival provides a popular Kids Zone, complete with rides, face painting, creative arts and fun activities.

Exhibitors include fine art, such as paintings, clay sculptures, photography, stained glass, leatherwork, jewelry, glass, furniture, fiber, quilting and many more displays of creativity. Blooming Arts Festival is held in Linden’s downtown; it’s free and open to the public. Plan your visit.

2ND ANNUAL OREO FESTIVAL (3/28)

Mark your calendar, grab your crew, and bring your sweet tooth to the 2^nd Annual Oreo Festival! Organizers promise “a full day packed with Oreo-inspired treats, desserts, drinks, and family fun that’ll have your taste buds cheering. From the classics you love to wild new Oreo creations, this is the ultimate celebration for cookie lovers of all ages!” (Is your mouth watering yet?)

This delicious, family-friendly event will be held indoors at the MTSU Livestock Center in Murfreesboro, so your cookies will be crunchy, rain or shine. Saturday, March 28th, 2026, 10am-4pm. Parking and admission are free. Pour a glass of milk and read the details.

BROKEN WHEEL MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

WESTHAVEN PORCHFEST

From noon to 5 pm on September 20, the hills of Franklin, TN will be alive with the sound of music played from 26 porches in the Westhaven neighborhood. Visitors are encouraged to walk, bike or ride a golf cart (available to rent) from porch to porch and enjoy free concerts! LIBERTY SQUARE – A LESTER FLATT CELEBRATION

Celebrate the rich bluegrass heritage of the area at the City of Sparta’s annual community event. Held the second Saturday in October, this free event brings in national and international touring bluegrass artists for a full day of music on the main stage in front of the historic Oldham Theater.

We know you were wondering, “Music is great, but wouldn’t it be better with goats?” This is your chance to find out. The annual Goats, Music and More Festival honors goats, but don’t worry—they’re not the ones making music. You’ll find a full slate of human performers playing acoustic, bluegrass, country and rock and roll music fun plus an arts & crafts show, food vendors, children’s activities and more. 1.  PILGRIMAGE MUSIC & CULTURAL FESTIVAL – SEPT. 28-29 – FRANKLIN

Inspired by friendship, history, experience and the desire to create an authentic music festival, Pilgrimage celebrates its 10^th festival in 2024. Festival-goers will be surrounded by music at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm—walking distance from downtown Franklin—with multiple stages showcasing a 2024 lineup that includes the Dave Mathews Band, Noah Kahan, NEEDTOBREATHE, Hozier and many more. Plan time to shop with local artisans, restaurants, food trucks and makers, and bring the kids.  There’s plenty to keep them happy, too, like a DJ Mixing Stations so kids can experience what it’s like to mix their own music and much more at the Franklin Fun Farm.

When performances wrap and the lights come back on at 10pm each night, guests can conveniently walk back into the heart of downtown Franklin, within walking distance from the Park at Harlinsdale, to imbibe the best of the town’s bars and restaurants, retail shops, and great weekend lineups of nighttime shows and events.

2.  GREEN HILLS PARK FESTIVAL – SEPT. 7 – NASHVILLE

For something on a little smaller scale—but still a fun, family-friendly outing—head out to the 8^th Annual Green Hills Park Festival at 1200 Lone Oak Rd in Nashville from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, September 7th. Incognito Cartel will rock the stage; adults 21+ can enjoy cocktails will be available for purchase. Kids are welcome to run around and play games, learn to juggle, get creative with children’s craft activities, and learn about bike safety!  Attendees of any age can enjoy shopping with local makers and over 40 kid entrepreneurs. At 7:00 pm, make yourself comfortable and enjoy a kid-friendly outdoor film.

Admission is free! Proceeds from the sponsorships and donations made at the Festival go straight toward park improvements. This year, money raised will go toward installing exercise equipment at the park.

3.  CHEEKWOOD HARVEST – SEPT. 14-OCT. 27 – NASHVILLE

If ever you wondered where to take the perfect Insta-worthy photo, this is it. Where else are you likely to see than 4,000 chrysanthemums and more than 75,000 pumpkins in a Pumpkin Village (including three pumpkin houses) and a nine-foot-tall P’mumkin topiary made of orange mums arranged in the shape of a giant pumpkin? Bring your crew along to stroll through the Bradford Robertson Color Garden, walk along the rainbow-themed Scarecrow Trail, then pick up a pumpkin to take home. Tip:  If you come on a weekend, you can enjoy music in the beer garden before or after your stroll.

A festival too big to fit into just one location, the Americana Music Festival & Conference offers more than 165 showcases in venues around downtown. The 24th annual AMERICANAFEST brings together fans and industry professionals alike, offering five days of celebration through seminars, panels and networking opportunities by day and raw, intimate showcases each night. 5.  DEPOT DAYS – SEPT 27-28 – SMYRNA

The fun starts on Friday night (9/27/24) with a Classic Car Show from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm. As dawn breaks on Saturday, September 28th, Front Street undergoes a magical transformation into a bustling pedestrian paradise. From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm you can browse the eclectic wares offered by more than 100 vendors. Laughter and music will be in the air, especially around the Kids Zone with “inflatable wonders” offered free of charge. Throughout the weekend, the Main Stage at the Train Depot will be a focal point of entertainment, along with myriad other locations along the bustling Front Street.

6.  NASHVILLE GREEK FESTIVAL – SEPT. 27-29 – NASHVILLE

Take a trip to Greece this month—no passport required! The Nashville Greek Festival offers a rich, multi-sensory experience of Greek hospitality and culture, transforming the grounds of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church into a three-day “glendi” (aka festival). The Nashville Greek Festival provides a rich, authentic and varied menu prepared by passionate volunteers who want to share their heritage.With delicious food on offer, live Greek music, tours and dancing, this is a fun and tasty opportunity to experience another culture. This authentic Pow Wow experience came out of the dream of a local, Wilson County man with Native American heritage who dreamed of educating his community in Native American culture. The newly re-imagined and re-branded “WilCo Pow Wow” promised to be bigger than ever this year, featuring over 150 Native American dancers and drummers, authentic Native American food, arts, crafts and entertainment activations such as pottery making, weaving and tomahawk throwing. Come out to the Wilson County Fairgrounds and learn about the rich Native American culture and heritage found not only in Tennessee but throughout our nation.

TENNESSEE RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL – WEEKENDS IN MAY

The Tennessee Renaissance Festival is packed with knights, ladies, pirates, jesters, magicians and more. 83RD ANNUAL MIDDLE TENNESSEE STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL – MAY 10-11

You’re in for a sweet time at this action-packed weekend in Portland, TN celebrating all things strawberry. Friday night offers a free Strawberry Jam Concert & Fireworks starting at 5:00 PM. The Main Festival Day on Saturday starts with a pancake breakfast at 7:00 AM, followed by a 5k, live music, magic show, carnival—and LOTS of strawberries (while they last). Learn more.

NASHVILLE WATER LANTERN FESTIVAL – MAY 11

As the sun begins to set over the Parthenon at Centennial Park, your unique lantern will join others drifting on the water, carrying hope, love, happiness, healing, and connection. Each adult ticket comes with a floating lantern kit and LED candle, a commemorative drawstring bag and more. Enjoy visiting food trucks and vendors, decorating lanterns, playing corn hole, or just relax and listen to the music. Ticket prices cover the cost of cleanup and support the mission of Water.org in helping to provide safe water and sanitation to families around the world. KILGORE STATION BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL – MAY 17-18

Love bluegrass? Then you’ll want to head over to Cross Plains, TN May 17-18. Friday night starts with a junior fiddle contest, followed by a barn dance and fish fry. Saturday kicks off at 11:00 AM with concerts throughout the day. It all happens in Kilgore Park, one of the most beautiful outdoor concert venues in Tennessee. MIDDLE TN CORNBREAD FESTIVAL – MAY 18, 2024

Grab your cornbread-lovin’ friends and fam and head to Smithville to celebrate all things cornbread. The 4^th annual festival promises “80+ artisans, boutiques, food trucks, face painting, & TONS of CORNBREAD options with ALL of the food vendors!” Wonder if you need to bring your own butter?
